Join one of Southern California’s premier jazz training programs! Our audition process helps us place you in the right combo or ensemble, matching your current skills with peers at a similar level. Whether you’re a developing student or an advanced improviser, we’re looking for passionate musicians ready to learn, rehearse, and perform.

Please note, placement is based on availability and seats are filled on a first-come-first-served basis with priority given to currently registered students.

To help us place you in the right ensemble, please prepare the following: All Instruments: Perform a major blues in any key. All Instruments: Perform a jazz standard of your choice. Drummers: Demonstrate contrasting grooves/tempos (e.g., swing, Latin, funk, ballad). Technical requirements: Auditions must be recorded in front of a clean, quiet background with no noise. Ensure your instrument and voice are clearly audible.
